2008 Willamette Valley Gewurztraminer from Oak Knoll Winery. Tart aromas of kumquat, Kaffir lime, apple, and rhubarb with grassy notes on the nose following onto the palate, with hints of spice. This is not a Gewürztraminer with any residual sugar, so it has very little floral notes, but citrus and lemon grass more than make up for the usual floral aromas associated with Gewürtz. The finish is clean with white raspberry flavors. Ideal for chicken and fish dishes, this wine could also be enjoyed with a vegetarian Thai curry or with aromatic cheeses as an aperitif.

Chardonnay-2008 Unoaked Chardonnay Oregon from Oak Knoll Winery. The 2008 Unoaked Chardonnay¿ s bright aromatic nose displays a honeydew melon and citrus bouquet up front, with added grassy notes and hints of strawberry and passion fruit. A lively palate features a citrus blast of Mandarin orange, Myer Lemon and Pink Grapefruit. The clean finish highlights flavors of kiwi fruit and sage.

2005 Pinot Noir Vintage Reserve from Oregon's Oak Knoll Winery. This wine exhibits a dark garnet color and aromas of cherry, clove, and leather. 2008 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley. Oak Knoll Winery WINEMAKER NOTES: This Pinot Noir was cold soaked for one week before fermentation. This allowed for us to extract flavors from the skins, enhancing its fruity characters. After a week in the tanks, yeast was added to begin fermentation. Two different styles of yeast were used: 60 percent fermirouge, which creates more body; and, 40 percent Ruby which intensifies the fruit flavors.
